Biohazard Waste Handling
Lifting totes of bio hazard waste can pose safety issues for workers. Using the Go Lift UL3 or UL4 can reduce strain and injury for heavy lifting.
The brand newly constructed facility, River Bend Hospital in Eugene uses our GoLift 3 adapted with a clamping fork that firmly grasped the bio hazard waste tote for disposal. The totes weigh around 50 pounds which is a weight that while can be lifted, poses a lifting injury risk. The standard lifting forks or a lifting platform can be swapped out on the portable lift for manuevering other items, making the equipment useful for a range of tasks. The tight turning radius and compact nature of the Go Lifts make it easy to operate in tight spaces, hallways and elevators.
Document Handling
Transferring large quantities of paper files can be a heavy load to move and can pose a worker saftey issue, particulary for people with back or shoulder issues. Adding self propulsion to any cart makes it easy for anyone to manuever items.
These file carts were adapted with self propulsion to assist workers in moving the file carts.
